We Are Back To Phase 2: Social & Distant

To continue living out our purpose as a church, we have prayerfully put together a four-phase plan to safely reopen our buildings for in-person services. We are making efforts to ensure each phase is compliant with our local leadership, CDC guidelines/recommendations, and the pulse of our church family.

Phase 1: Safer-At-Home

  • Gathering of 10 or fewer
  • Restricted to select ministers and workers running the worship service production for livestreaming on rccgmotl.org, YouTube and Facebook.
  • Bible Study, Sunday School, Children's Ministry and other groups meet online via ZOOM.

Phase 2: Social & Distant (March 28, 2021)

  • Gathering of 40 or fewer
  • Continue to livestream worship services at 11am each Sunday on rccgmotl.org, YouTube and Facebook.
  • Register Online at rccgmotl.org to attend in-person worship services. The registration is FREE but required to help us adequately plan each service.
  • Commence in-person worship services with reduced capacity for pre-registered members and guests.
  • Bible Study, Sunday School, Children's Ministry and other groups continue to meet online via ZOOM.

We will be taking precautions to ensure our in-person services are as safe as possible. We respectfully ask that you honor others by following these guidelines:

  • Registration is required to attend each service and will open at the beginning of the week for that weekend's worship service. Tickets for attendance will be automatically issued during the registration process on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached so please be sure to register well in advance at rccgmotl.org.
  • Sanctuary seating will be limited and spread out to comply with social distancing guidelines. The children's department hall may be used as an overflow viewing room to accommodate any unexpected attendance spike.
  • Ushers will assign seating; please follow their lead and cooperate with them at all times. Families will be seated together as a unit with adequate spacing between them and the next individual or family unit. No childcare will be provided at this time.
  • Masks should be worn at all times especially while singing and talking. Masks and hand gloves will be provided at the counter as you enter the sanctuary if you do not have any. These protective equipment provided to you are intended for one time use as they are disposable. Please dispose of them at the end of service.
  • There will be a temperature check station at the entrance of the church sanctuary.
  • Automatic hand sanitizer dispensers and bottles have been placed strategically around the building. Feel free to use them as often as you deem necessary, and please assist your children.
  • Please do your best to practice physical distancing while inside the building and refrain from congregating in the lobby.
  • While we all want to hug, give high-fives, and shake hands, please refrain from doing so for now. We can air hug and blow kisses.
  • Offering boxes will be open and placed close to the entrance of the sanctuary. Members are strongly encouraged to take advantage of our online giving channels (web/text-2-give) if not already doing so.
  • No communion will be served.
  • No food or drink will be served.
  • Bathrooms will be open but the entranceway to the bathrooms will be limited to one person at a time.
  • High touch surfaces, pews, and bathrooms will be sanitized after services.
  • No group meeting in church sanctuary after service. Social meetings/ greetings can be observed outside the church sanctuary while maintaining social distance. Church meetings/group meeting will continue online with ZOOM.
  • As the service ends, we ask that you exit the building promptly and follow the laid down instructions (exit signs/usher’s directives).
  • Persons with compromised immune systems, in an at-risk category, or simply not ready to return to campus are encouraged to stay home and continue watching online.

Phase 3: Soft Opening (TBD)

  • Gathering of up to 50% capacity
  • Continue to livestream worship services at 11am each Sunday on rccgmotl.org, YouTube and Facebook.
  • Continue in-person worship services with increased capacity with new guidelines as determined by local leadership, CDC recommendations, and the pulse of our church family.
  • Bible Study, Sunday School, Children's Ministry and other groups continue to meet online via ZOOM.
