About the Speaker

David Trottier helps Christians understand biblical teachings about money because God wants us to be wealthy. Teaching is in David’s blood. After serving as a German teacher for 22 years, he left that, so he could give more time to financial coaching. In fact the name of his business is HOAT Financial Coaching, which stands for Heart Of A Teacher.

David was baptized into Christ in 1994. He is grateful for God’s guidance through his own financial journey. Although David once had three maxed out credit cards, he now has an emergency fund, and his only debt is his mortgage. He credits God’s teachings and guidance for this transformation. That is why he now serves others — to help them experience this transformation for themselves.
